1. Privacy Principles

At MyBioCraft, we believe in privacy by design. We build tools that creators and their audiences can trust. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not deploy invasive third-party cross-site marketing trackers.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address, username, and a securely salted bcrypt password hash. Plaintext passwords are never stored.
• Profile & Content: We store the biographical text, links, social channels, and images that you explicitly choose to publish on your public bio page.
• Aggregated Privacy Analytics: When visitors open your bio page or click links, we record an event with timestamp and sanitized referrer (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Direct). We do not record raw IP addresses or create device fingerprints.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

You maintain full ownership of your data. You may edit or delete any link, unpublish your profile at any time, or permanently delete your account through your dashboard settings. Upon account deletion, your profile, links, and associated analytics are permanently purged.
